Chlorhexadine Gluconate, animal safe cleaner/disinfectant

This is simply the best choice for disinfecting your animal cages. Once you have mixed up your solution, just spray and wipe. No need to allow the cage to “air out” or rinse like you need to with bleach. If you haven’t already noticed, bleach and urine mixed together makes a really nasty, and toxic, eye watering combination! No such problems with Chlorhexadine. I use only ceramic crocks, because they are easy to clean, and they are heavy enough they don’t get tipped over (very often.)
